Micah Parsons has taken an important step toward returning to the field, participating in Green Bay Packers practice on Wednesday, November 4. The four-time All-Pro edge rusher took part in individual drills, marking his first practice since suffering a serious knee injury late in the 2025 season.

Packers open Parsons’ 21-day practice window

Parsons’ return to practice opens a 21-day window in which Green Bay can prepare him for activation from the physically unable to perform list. The first session was deliberately limited, allowing him to begin working through football activities without immediately taking part in full team drills.

Parsons described the first day back as fulfilling and said he was looking forward to increasing his work in the following week. He also avoided naming a specific date for his return, making clear that the priority is to build up safely rather than promise a timetable that may change.

Thanksgiving Eve matchup is a possible target

The 21-day window puts the Packers’ Thanksgiving Eve game against the Los Angeles Rams on November 25 on the radar as a possible return point. That is a potential target, not a confirmed comeback date. Parsons still needs to progress through practice and demonstrate that he is ready for game action.

Green Bay has reason to be encouraged by the development. Quarterback Jordan Love described Parsons’ presence back on the practice field as a morale boost, while head coach Matt LaFleur praised the work that has gone into the edge rusher’s recovery.

A major reinforcement for the defense

When healthy, Parsons gives the Packers an explosive pass-rushing threat who can change how opposing offenses protect the quarterback. His eventual return would add another high-impact player to a defense that has been competing through the first half of the season.

For now, the focus remains on steady progress. Parsons’ practice window is open, but the Packers have not announced when he will be activated or when he will play in a regular-season game.
