The Philadelphia Eagles have made a roster move ahead of their crucial NFC Championship Game by elevating safety Anthony Harris from the practice squad. Harris was also elevated for the NFC Divisional Round win over the Giants last week, but was inactive on gameday.
Harris brings valuable experience to the team, both on defense and special teams. He led the Eagles’ secondary with 72 tackles in the 2021 season. After being released at the end of Training Camp, he signed with the Denver Broncos, where he played in three games. The Broncos released him in December and he returned to the Eagles on the practice squad. He has yet to appear in a game for the Eagles this season.
Interestingly, the last time Harris was in an NFC Championship Game, he was on the opposing team, playing for the Vikings in the 2017 season. The Eagles were victorious in that game.

The Eagles are in good health heading into Sunday’s game, with every player on the active roster available to play. The addition of Harris adds valuable depth to the team as they look to secure a spot in the Super Bowl.
