Nicholas Pooran had an amazing performance on Monday. His team, the Lucknow Super Giants, had a big challenge ahead of them as they needed to score 213 runs to win against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Pooran decided to take charge and help his team. He came to bat in the 11th over when the Lucknow Super Giants were at 99/4 and they need 114 of 56 balls. On just the second ball he faced, Pooran hit a massive six off RCB spinner Karn Sharma. And that was only the beginning! He hit five more sixes and reached the 50-run mark in just 15 balls, which is one of the fastest in IPL history.

He achieved 50 runs in the 15th over and left the game in the 17th over after scoring 62 runs off just 19 balls. He hit four 4s and seven 6s with an amazing strike rate of 326.32. This is the fourth-highest strike rate in an IPL innings of 50 runs or more.
