Thursday Night at Lambeau ended 35–14 Falcons. The Packers’ home-opener streak died. It had lasted since 2013.

What Atlanta did

Bijan Robinson carried 29 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Drake London caught nine for 194. Same number. Different jobs.

Michael Penix Jr. was back. The first two weeks ran on backups. He went 18-of-25 for 256 yards, one score, one pick. Brian Robinson added a rushing touchdown. Atlanta piled up 498 yards and held the ball 37 minutes.

The Falcons were 0–2. They are 1–2. The night was not close after the first quarter.

What Green Bay did not do

Jordan Love was 28-of-53 for 312 yards and two scores. Christian Watson scored first. Matthew Golden had 100 and a late touchdown. That was the highlight reel. The ground game was 17 yards.

Matt LaFleur called it a humbling night. After the early 7–0 lead, Green Bay allowed 27 straight. A blocked kick. A failed fourth down in the red zone. Then the house went quiet.

Packers 1–2. First home-opener loss in 13 years.
