NFL Week 7 · Game-Day Availability

The inactive lists are changing the Sunday picture—and Green Bay has a key running back back on its active roster.

Sunday’s NFL Week 7 availability picture has three big threads: Baltimore will be without Lamar Jackson, Indianapolis has ruled out three players against Minnesota, and Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet will not make his 2026 debut against Kansas City. Meanwhile, the Packers have activated Josh Jacobs ahead of their NFC North game with Detroit.

The Steelers beat the Saints 16–10 in the NFL’s first regular-season game in France. Aaron Rodgers threw his 540th regular-season touchdown pass to move past Peyton Manning on that list, and Payton Wilson’s red-zone interception helped secure the win.

Out

Lamar Jackson — Baltimore Ravens

Jackson has been ruled out against Cincinnati as he continues recovering from a high-ankle sprain. Tyler Huntley is expected to make a third consecutive start. The Ravens have not announced a firm return date.

Out

Tyler Warren, Sauce Gardner and Anthony Gould — Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis ruled out tight end Tyler Warren, cornerback Sauce Gardner and wide receiver Anthony Gould for the game at Minnesota. Those absences affect the Colts’ passing options and secondary at a difficult road venue.

Ruled out

Zach Charbonnet — Seattle Seahawks

Charbonnet will not make his 2026 debut against Kansas City on Sunday night. Seattle said the decision follows the club’s planned return-to-play process after his ACL surgery; the team reported no setback. The next opportunity is not a guarantee of availability.

Josh Jacobs is back on Green Bay’s active roster

The Packers activated Jacobs from the Commissioner’s Exempt List on Saturday, making him eligible to return against Detroit after missing the first six games. NFL.com and ESPN reporting said he was expected to make his season debut. Green Bay’s official transaction notice confirms the activation; the final inactive list remains the game-day check.

The timing matters for an offense that has struggled to establish its ground game. Jacobs led Green Bay in rushing in each of his first two seasons with the team, so his return offers the Packers a proven option as they face a division opponent.

There is an important distinction between being eligible to play and the league’s disciplinary process being complete. Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges in September stemming from a May incident, and reporting says the NFL’s personal-conduct investigation remains ongoing. The activation is a roster decision, not a final ruling on any league discipline.

Questionable is not the same as out

A player listed as questionable can still play. Check each club’s official inactive list near kickoff before treating a doubtful or questionable designation as a final decision.

Where to check every Sunday inactive

The NFL publishes a team-by-team inactive list for all 12 Sunday games, including the Steelers–Saints game in Paris, the early afternoon matchups and the later Packers–Lions and Chiefs–Seahawks games.
